This is my last picture from the 2010 New York International Auto Show. Aren’t you bummed??
The Jaguar XF is an executive class sedan that entered showrooms of the fabled British marque just as Ford was selling the company to Tata Motors of India, and the car hasn’t skipped a beat in the transition. WIth a 4.2-liter V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, how can a Jaguar customer go wrong?
This XF sedan is just about the only exotic European car I photographed at the 2010 New York auto show. I couldn’t get a good shot of the Mercedes-Benz AMG gullwing coupe on display, and I somehow neglected to photograph a Rolls-Royce sedan with suicide doors - my bad. But then, as a Volkswagen fan, I’m partial to more accessible European makes - like Fiat, a car that the average Giuseppe can afford. I like ordinary European cars because that’s what ordinary European people drive.
But this Jag is still nice. 
The 2011 New York International Auto Show, timed as always to Easter Week, runs from April 22 to May 1, 2011.
